Currently I'm finding myself using my DT 770s much more often than my Grados, just for sheer comfort purposes, so I'm looking to upgrade to a headphile mod, if only for the sheer factor that they look prettier sitting on my desk. The SR225s are an older headphile mod, cabled with silver I believe, and terminated to 1/8th. As for the cups themselves I'm unsure on the wood, as I am not the original owner, however they are extremely light and a very dark red. The back of the cups retail the plastic Grado lettering and silver mesh standard on the SR225, and it's been further modded with foam padding on the headband. When there's daylight available I will post a picture. Sound is quite mellow for a Grado and pretty relaxing when compared to my old 325s, but just as clear.
For the right Terminator or Darth Beyer I would also be quite willing to put in my old DT 770 250s as well. Though they're very old and worn, they still sound fantastic.
