Bravo V2 Headphones Hybrid Tube Amp with 6 Tubes, Bias Pots Upgrade, Gold RCAs Upgrade - $60 Shipped CONUS Only
Will Ship To: Continental USA
I no longer use this nice, entry level Bravo headphones tube amp since getting a Little Dot MKIV. The Bravo V2 works and sounds great, and in fact has better audio than when new, due to the higher quality bias pots (Cermet) I installed along with gold RCA connectors upgrade (both mods reduced the last small vestiges of noise; this is a desirable upgrade for the Bravos).
Sound is also better than stock with the included Amperex 6DJ8/ECC88 tube. I purchased this early 1970s vintage Amperex as NOS (New Old Stock), and the tube has approximately 30 hours of burn-in and perhaps 20 hours of listening time. This is a tube recommended in the Bravo Tube Amp threads. I paid $28 plus shipping for it, from an audiophile Ebay seller in Spain. The two halves of this dual triode tube have very similar measured specs; see the numbers on the tube box in the photo below.
There are a total of six tubes included: the stock 6N11J, the above mentioned Amperex 6DJ8/ECC88, a GE 6DJ8, a Zenith 6DJ8, and two GE 5654 tubes. All sound good, but the Amperex is best by far to my ears.
Note that the two GE 5654 tubes are not shown in the photos below, but will be included for the buyer. The AC adapter for the Bravo V2 is also included (USA plug).
As most of you will know, the Bravo V2 amp has ample power to drive high impedance headphones. It works fine with my AKG K702.
My feedbacks are listed here: http://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/feedback/index/user_id/131654 I also have nearly 500, 100% perfect feedback ratings on Ebay, under the username "4nradio".
I'll sell the upgraded Bravo V2, the six tubes, and the AC adapter for $60 including shipping to a continental USA address. Sorry, but I will not ship out of the country. The items will be well packed and shipped within two days of PayPal funds received (I ship to Confirmed PayPal addresses only).
Thanks for your interest in this improved Bravo V2!
