Different speaker and headphone settings?

Hi guys,

I recently built a new PC rig but I have been having an issue with speakers vs headphones.

Sometimes I like to quickly plug in my headphones into the front output when it gets later on in the day, the only problem is that my speakers need bass management, bass levels and 5.1 set-up.

Now my headphones need none of that rubbish and I just want a simple no thrills set-up with everything disabled.

I'm sure I had this at one point, two different set-ups within Windows 7.. But I can't find it anywhere now!!

I have downloaded the latest Realtek drivers and software but no help..

When I plug in my headphones = Headphone configuration

When headphones not in = Speaker configuration

I am trying to save money so I would rather not purchase a sound card as I'm quite pleased with the quality when it works..

My motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P.

Thank you,

Laurence

You couldn't find the settings in control panel or by second-clicking the speaker icon in the taskbar and selecting Playback Devices?

There's only "Speakers" there even after plugging in my headphones. Thanks.
