I ordered a stock Woo WA6 on Wednesday. It will power my HD 600s. I hope I did good.
When listening to CDs, am I coorect it would be best to connect the CD player directly to the WD6 rather than going from the CD player to an integrated amp and THEN to the WD6?
The logic behind making this extra stop at the integrated amp is that I currently have both the CD player and an MP3 player feeding into the integrated amp. When I hook up the WD6, if I use the integrated amp in the loop, it will be a simple matter to change the source, i.e., just pushing a button on the integrated amp. If I go the other way, and connect the CD player directly to the WD6, I will have to physically disconnect the CD player from the WD6 and then connect the integrated amp to listen to the MP3 player. (The MP3 player is the HM 801 and the line out is connected to the MP input on the front panel of an NAD intergrated amp.)
Any thoughts, suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
Bill
