I can't go over 150 even. I might give superlux 668B a try, only 60 in canada. that way I can keep m50 . heard amazing things about 668b

Sennheiser HD 595 is about $150. I haven't heard them, but they've gotten good reviews.

found t50rp for 99 in a local store. Might be the best open headphone at this price range. ditching 668b for now.

Just wondering... do you have a headphone amp for the t50rp or even the hd668b?

Amazon has the hd 595 for $145 although the price fluctuates a bit up and down.  I have the HD 595 as well as many other more expensive headphones.  The 595 is an excellent very musical headphone that I personally enjoy more than the more expensive Sennheisers.  It can be used without an amp.

Look at the Alessandro MS-1i, directly from their website.  It's $110 including shipping worldwide.  I like mine almost as much as my HD 600!
