Small Help for a newbie

Hello guys,

Up until recently I was using my Auzentech Prelude with combination of Ultrasone 2500. For an average guy in Poland it was a good setup. But my auzen got broken and already lost its warrranty.

Im not experienced at all thats why I ask for your help.

Because much of my free time I spend behind computer I would like to have an USB dac and an AMP. I would use it not only to listen to music, but to play games ( big fan of them ), watch movies, anime etc. And from time to time when my girlfriend drops by I would like to swtich fast to loudspeakers or connect second pair of headphones.

I gahtered some money and I think I can spend up to 1200 polish zlotys which gives around 420 dollars or 305 Euro.

Thanks for all of you help,

Bump,

Appreciate any help.

Just to add. I am listening mostly to metal and rock music - Manowar, Grave Digger, Nightwish, Hammerfall, Gamma Ray and many more. Wonder if my new rig shouldnt be "warm" sounding. As I said earlier I appreciate any kind of help.

If you want line-out speaker output, I think your best bet is the Nuforce Icon 2.
