Experience with rapidrepair.com?

Does anyone have an experience with rapidrepair.com recently?

About 10 days ago I've ordered a 240G HDD for ipod 5.5 from rapidrepair.com, after 1-2 days they sent me an email saying that they need a copy of my photo id or my credit card. At that time I emailed a scan of my passport that was expired (my other ids are not in English and I was reserved from sending a credit card via email, I mailed them to tell me if it is a problem). Without any response from rapidrepair I though it should be ok, but after a week, I've got another exactly same to first email from rapidrepair requiring the additional documents, and it looks like to be auto-generated. This time I've faxed them a photo of my credit card and told them (via both faxed letter and email) to let me know if it is ok, but I have no reply. I've tried some email after that (for some days) and they simply do not respond and I'm quite being uneasy.

Are they operating properly now?

Call them and see what the situation is. Sending emails and document scans back and forth blindly is a no-no IMO.

My own experience with them is that they are legit, but do have a policy in place designed to minimise involvement in CC frauds. They also asked me for an ID copy, I provided it, they shipped right after that, no problems at all.
