For Head-Fi Contribution: NIB Apple iPod 6g 80gb Black

I have a New In Box, still sealed, Apple 80gb 6G iPod. This was the first of the split-screen iPods, and that's an interface you either love or hate. Images are of the actual unit for sale.



As noted below, this is not an iMod-able unit, but it will work just fine with the new Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Solo DAC. Indeed, better than an iMod!

So, this one is up for contribution, brand spanking new, for much less than it cost me. In fact, this will go to the first Head-Fier who makes a new $50 contribution to Head-Fi. I will provide free shipping to CONUS.

Just a heads up for potential buyers, this is NOT a 5.5g Video, it is a 6g Classic and it CANNOT be iModded.

 As it turns out, it looks like MG/Juno is correct; I appreciate the clarification.

In the interest of fairness, and in order to support Head-Fi, I am going to be converting this item to a Head-Fi donation item.

Thanks for all the PMs. I have several folks who want to contribute in order to claim the iPod, so I am going to mark this as closed. I will reply to each person individually via PM to apprise them of status.

FYI, next week, I plan to give away a refurb'ed Sennheiser HD600 set in exchange for a Head--Fi contribution.

In the meantime, can I ask someone a favor? Although I am a contributor to Head-Fi myself, I cannot seem to find an easy link for a member to become a new contributor. Does anyone know where that is?
