^ Not very immortal then, eh? Where did that come from anyway, I could have sworn HE posted that somewhere in a thread that is probably now locked.

Nope, not very.  But the memory of the occasion shall live on forever.  wink.gif

Actually, I'm not sure where it came from.  One of the guys in the TMAC thread dug up the "Currawong Is Watching" pic from an age old thread somewhere (probably the same one you're thinking of).  We just decided to use it to target honor our favorite admin.

Cheers Currawong!

You are suddenly about to be everywhere all at once, stretching back into the depths of time.

Said in David Mahler's Battle of the Flagships thread:

If you can time your listening sessions to coincide with solar flares of a certain magnitude and the birth of Tibetan triplets you will hear the HD201 at its absolute best. Also, with your preference for piercing treble, make sure you have lots of ice on hand. Strategic placement of said ice in specific zones south of the navel will blow your mind, especially when wearing red underwear.

Hi there I'm newbian and have a question my doctor said I have excess iron in my bloodstream and my question is does this make me magnetic?  Because the headphones I'm looking at getting are plantar magnetic and I don't wanna screw up the magnetic fields and make my new headphones go haywire like the kid who was in the holocaust who used his magnetic powers and grew up to be gandalf.  Hopefully this isn't too polarizing of a question k thanks guys.

This is horribly off topic, but as I'm known for that (and this is a good cause) here goes:

There's a spontaneous little eruption of thanks to Currawong for all the hard work he does around here - day in and day out.  Feel free to drop by and add yours if you feel so inclined.  That thread has already been derailed anyway, so this is a good time to take advantage of that.

In terms of operational oddities, it's a totally boring amp.

Dang. On the passdiy site in an article "Build the Amazing FET Circlotron" it says: "Circlotron circuits make for lots of interesting discussion among the audio crowd.  They are sometimes thought to posses mystical powers and perform hitherto impossible quantum mechanical wonders."

I want mystical wonders, not boring.

The Circlotron was Invented by a guy named Alpha M. Wiggins, how could it be boring? What was his brother/sister named? Beta? Only Space Aliens have names like Alpha.
