Even Google doesn't know what that means confused_face_2.gif

I got my French / Japanese / English confused. In Japanese it's "buta ni shinju" (litterally pearls to the pigs), in French it's "donner de la confiture aux cochons" (litterally giving jelly to the pigs). I guess in English, it would turn to "casting pearls before swine"...

These quotes made my day yesterday biggrin.gif.

I don't know about English but in American it would be 'like putting earrings on a pig'.  At least Southern American, not to be confused w/ South American where it's 'chinga tu madre'.

It's from Matthew 7:6.

"Pearls before swine" and "casting pearls" refer to a quotation from Matthew 7:6 "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces." in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount, implying that scriptural truth or knowledge (pearls) should not be put in front of people (or in this case, swine) who do not appreciate their value."

This one had me cracking up. From a different forum but having to do with something we are all familiar with - dissatisfaction factions resulting from upgrade versions. The member of the the pro-upgrade faction finally had had it and let one out -- here goes:

What wrong with You Peoples, elephant press on yours ears or what !!!  >:(

Aimp 3 have sound much better than Aimp 2. And Aimp 3 have ASIO :) \Wasapi next plus !

Peoples first check yours sound hardware or some test ears !

Request to MODERATOR, please close this topic !

(P.S. I happen to like Aimp3 myself and am actually digging the sound with asio4all -- rivals Foobar actually, even though the interfaces still need some finesse)

All in all the amp shows impressive engineering!"
