Foobar2000

Thread Starter

I am trying to make the switch from itunes to foobar but I don't like any of the default skins that foobar comes with.  Is there a skin that is like the itunes interface for foobar2000?  What I want is an album listing with album art, I would also like playlists such as "recently added" so that I can find what I've added recently faster and also If I wanted to, I can play only the new stuff I recently downloaded without having to manually add each song.  Also, does foobar2000 have a miniplayer like the itunes has so I can have it anywhere on the screen while taking up only a tiny bit of space?

Thanks

Have you given J.River Media Center a try?

It has much to offer in performance, appearance, and functionality.  Might be worth a look-see:  Media Center

Install foobar with facets, esplaylist and playcount, it should have these features you wanted sans the mini player (will take you sometimes to learn and set the thing up). Foobar had the component for this but it does not work quite well IMO. I'm using keyboard hotkeys with my foobar in trays typically.

Play with the setting for foobar.  There are a lot of variations you can try, and taylor to your taste.
