Music is my life (I sacrificed anything resembling a social life for music, that's why I'm still a virgin ;-) ) So I'm all in...... depending on how long it takes this to get together I might have a few more amps cans and sources

• No using any lotions.  No using any hair products.  These will mess up people's headphones and gear.

• No borrowing someone's headphones to use on another person's equipment without asking the owner if it's alright.

• No food or drink near equipment.

• No accidentally leaving the premises with someone else's gear. (Yes, this has actually happened and they used that excuse.)

• Be respectful and grateful to the host willing to offer up their home, office, etc. and don't make a mess.

• Be respectful of everyone's gear and treat it as you would a baby.  People generously bring some very expensive equipment with them to share with you.

• If you're not sure how a piece of gear works, ASK THE OWNER FIRST because if you break it, you might wind up owing someone a lot of money.  If you don't know who the owner is, find out from someone else.

• Have a good time, learn a lot, and meet new friends.

 

On another note, how do you already have 55 posts when you just signed up yesterday?

thanks for the infos, so there is no physical requirement right? like signing up, being a certain age, etc

 

PS: I was on the forum the whole day today. lmao

Obsessed with sound these few days, reading about amps, DAC, and helping others

No, you don't have to be a certain age but you do have to sign up in the thread so the host can do a head count and make sure there is enough room for everyone.

I'm 25, you'll meet me in person at this meet. I'm gonna go as hard and as fast as I can until I am homeless, deaf, or dead, whatever comes first.

when you meet me I'll explain why I'm like this..

Headphones aren't even my preferred way to listen to music, I'm a speaker man, but my next pair of planned speakers are $10k current market price (I don't want to end up with 20 pairs of cheap speakers, I buy expensive and I buy seldom.) But I like headphones for portable use, the HD800's were a little disappointing in this regard, I look forward to trying the Beyerdyne T5p's, T50p's and the ED 8's at this meet...

again if anyone needs any of my equipment let me know, take the luxman E-03 off the table, add a Meitner Audio PA-6i w/ phono stage to the mix.
