I don't use my 0404 to do any actual recording, but I've been trying to route the line-out back into the line-in to do things like RMAA test, or just play something back like a sine sweep and record it... but it doesn't seem to be working right and I'm stumped. Anything that comes in has a very weird tinny, echo-y sound to it. A sine sweep that looks dead flat in Audacity records with weird phasing where as the frequency increases it starts to phase more. I'm really new to anything involving recording, so any help would be appreciated..
(note, this also happens if I record the line out from my 0404 USB, using the spdif from my PCI as the source)
