Long time lurker has a question :)
I've been looking to upgrade my computer's SQ (I've already got lossless files + AT M50 headphones). I know my soundcard is terrible so I'm looking at buying either a USB soundcard or DAC. In terms of soundcards I'm considering the ASUS X1 or the sound blaster X-Fi. However I've also read around and noticed that everyone's been touting the nuForce uDAC as a much better solution.
The problem is living in Australia I can't find a store/website that stocks the uDAC. I think it might be the best option, but I'm always open to alternatives. If there are Australian users on this forum my question is "Where can I find the uDAC for sale?", this also goes for the rest of you guys as I think a reputable online dealer might be the best bet.
Anyway, the budget is $150 and your personal advice and experience would be greatly appreciated :)
