Durable/high quality 1/8" (3.5mm) jack

*edit: title should read plug not jack*

I own a pair of AKG 272HD's but I accidentally bent and cracked the headphone plug from impact.

I can solder a new plug, but I'd like it to be of equal or greater audio and mechanical quality. I've looked at Canare and Switchcraft, but all of these plugs look the same to me.

Can someone here please point me in the right direction? Is there such a thing as a military-grade 1/8" plug, or should I give up and go to Radioshack?

Thanks in advance!
