Roll Call: Who Still Uses A PCDP?

Well, now that DAPs have taken over the world in the portable market, who still rocks a PCDP?

Let's see them and post them.

I'll have to bring out my Sony Discmans, but for now, a little Memorex love via line-out I purchased a couple of years ago.  I posted these pics in another sub-forum and realized how much I missed these bad boys.

I still use a Sony D-E401 I bought on ebay. I don't use it real often, I mostly use my android phone run through a cassette adaptor to the factory radio in my 83 Caprice on my drive to school every day, and use the phone at school with headphones, usually the Porta Pro's.

At home and sometimes in the car I still use the Discman though. It's just a basic unit with ESP2, from 1997.

I still occasionally break out my d303, but my d515 gets more use.

I have a cd player connected via the tapedeck in my car, i've got a proper one to replace it with but can't be bothered at the moment as I don't use the car that much. I don't really use cd's anywhere else, it's a shame. Everything's either on Vinyl or on the computer.

Great to hear guys....

I too have gone mostly computer audio.  Great to bring these out and enjoy them for a change.  With the line-out they become very versatile....

Hello auhafezi,

I purchased it from ALO Audio a couple of years back.

I do occasionally use a pcdp for home listening. I rotate between the many Sonys, Denon, and Philips pcdps that I have lying around at home. The Denon DCP-150 is in my current listening rotation.

Hello warubozu,

That is the LD I+.  Tube hybrid that is excellent with low impedance phones.

I still love mine & find it impossible to give it up yet. It's still the least expensive way to quality uncompressed portable sound via a lineout to an amp.
