Here's my 3rd gen 40GB ipod w/DIYmod internal Blackgate cap conversion (its the one from the guide I posted somewhere in the "The Apple diyMod: My Take on the Famous iMod" thread). I replaced the battery when I did the mod & it works fine & plays for hours.... Perhaps 3 -> 4 hrs or more straight, but I used to use it an hour or 2 a few days a week usually only needed a charge once a week.
Everything works fine & as expected on it.. Its an internal cap mod so the headphone jack output is stock (can use headphones) and the lineout behaves as stock (just sounds better:), no need for a cap dock.
It has some light scratches here & there but not noticeable unless you are looking for them.
Comes with everything shown - ipod, gummy case, FW/USB cable, FW charger, lineout dock (black lineout -> mini sterero jack).
Looking for $65 w/me covering CONUS shipping & paypal fees.
I've feedback here, more in an archive thread here and in an ebay name I can provide.
