Bought the Gigaware iPod line out. Now to see what's in this "high performance noise filter"

Found a 4 foot LOD at radio shack for $10 and figured why not. I can't comment on the differences between a standard LOD and this one, because I have mine on extended loan for now.

 

Gonna try to pry it open and see what's inside

 

Acts like any LOD, disabled volume control out of my 7th gen(?) Classic (160 GB thin)

Will test with a touch to see if any message comes up and whatnot.

Busted it open and found some coil things with tape around them and some wimpy magnets around it:

And I guess there are some small resistors on the top here
