Noob: Good quality IEM's make for a restless listening experience.

Still a noob...but I've been noticing that I always monkey with EQ'ing now that I have decent IEM's. I like to get the best out of whatever song I'm listening to. I listen to many genre's and skip around. Never usually listen to the whole album.

 

I'll EQ it for the Axel F. theme...then I have to change it when Alison Iraheta comes on...only to change again for Russ Freeman and the Rippingtons...etc...

 

Heck...there are some artists that I just don't listen to anymore b/c the song is painful to listen to. I used to like them when I was wearing $20 IEM's

 

Are you all plagued with this affliction or do you set it and forget it and put up with the shortcomings of one song to avoid the pain from another?

Yeah, I find myself switching phones for different music.  RIght now I'm rotating Senn PX 100, Koss Portapro, Shure e2c and Mee M6 trying to figure out what I prefer in a phone.
