I've been trying to select caps for internal install diymod for my 5g 30 gig ipod (thin housing). So far my research has only created more confusion, and the obvious black gate caps seem hard to come by in Australia currently. Can anyone recommend any film or electrolytic caps that will perform well in this application, and fit internally (Smaller than 10 mm or 2/5 inch I presume is sensible, preferable 8 mm).
From what I have read the technical data will only go part of the way toward finding a good solution, thus my appeal for advice here.
