Question regarding desktop amps

Hi,

 

I am about to purchase an audio gd fun however I need to confirm this setup will work. From what i have read i can connect the audio gd fun via usb to the computer, then connect my nad stereo amplifier to the audio gd DAC out via rca cables to power my speakers. I can then also connect my hd 650 straight into the headphone out of the FUN. How does the computer know to direct the audio output via usb to the FUN? Since we are now eliminating the soundcard...

 

Any prompt response would be highly appreciated as i need to seal the deal soon.

If the computer doesn't recognize the FUN and set it as default automatically, you can go to Control Panel -> Sound and set your default playback device yourself. This is assuming you're on Windows.

 

Everything else sounds right to me.
