Looking for an obscure J-Pop song by ELISA (Animate No Uta)

So I just found out about this album from one of my favorite artists (ELISA) and want to buy it... the only problem is that after an hour of searching I have no idea where you would be able to acquire it.  Not knowing any Japanese doesn't help either.

This is the album:

I think it might be some sort of commercial song or something.  I did find this:

http://www.animate-onlineshop.jp/pn/%E3%80%90%E3%81%9D%E3%81%AE%E4%BB%96(%E9%9F%B3%E6%A5%BD)%E3%80%91ELISA%E5%BA%97%E9%95%B7/%E3%82%A2%E3%83%8B%E3%83%A1%E3%82%A4%E3%83%88%E3%81%AE%E3%81%86%E3%81%9F/pd/1029965/

The only problem is that they probably don't ship to the US for sure... I got as far as making a new account to check out but got stuck at the address section.  Apparently it's for people in Japan only.

If anyone knows of a place where I can buy this electronically that would be awesome.

I know an awful lot of obscure J-Pop songs, but sadly I don't know this one. From what I can tell it was a limited edition single of a song that wasn't particularly popular to begin with (sales peaking at 500 copies doesn't sound great, even by Japanese standards). Considering that it seems to be solely made for and distributed by Animate TV I doubt that it'll be on m/any legal digital download sites either.

Is there any chance that you can get it shipped to someone in Japan who can then send it to you? That site looks pretty solid if you can OH MY GOD DID I JUST SEE K-ON! SHOES? (Also Nunally dakimakura? Ewww.)

*Ahem*

I'd like to say that there are probably 'other' ways of acquiring this song, but a quick Google actually brings up this thread as the second result. Googling the kanji also doesn't seem to bring up any purchase options beyond the one you've already given. Nothing on Amazon.co.jp, nothing on eBay.co.jp (though that may just be because Japanese eBay is confusing as hell and I'm not using the right search bar).

So yeah, I'd say that unless you can find someone you trust in Japan to send it on to you, it's a pinch. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yea, she doesn't seem to be like a very well-known artist in the first place and this one seems to be almost like a promotional thing.

Unfortunately I don't really know anyone in Japan, so I might just have to skip this one.

I've already tried almost every single search trick I know, I even did a reverse image look up on the album cover, searched for the individual tracks, and all that.

I wish there was a youtube video at least =/

Looks like you will have to use a 'Japan buying service', Google for it, there are a bunch of different companies. I'd estimate 40-50$ just for that CD shipped, it's best to buy a bunch of other random stuff with the order, to make it sting a little less.

Sadly if they don't ship outside of Japan (way too lazy to check), you'll either need to have connections or use a Japanese deputy service. There are many of these services around (I would recommend checking who'll charge the least for their service), but basically they'll buy (or bid if using ebay) on your behalf then act as a middle man before sending it out to you.

Actually, try Tenso (http://www.tenso.com/en/), while I haven't used them myself, I have heard good things regarding them, especially as they don't charge commission, only a forwarding fee. Heck, they even have a 50% discount on right now! They give a more detailed explanation, but in a nutshell they give you an address to use. It's probably going to be your best and cheapest bet.

Thanks for the responses, I'll definitely look into that service.

It sort of sucks having to pay so much for only 3 songs though...

Trust me, I know the feeling. Japan is horrible for singles, getting charged $20 before anything other fee's you might be hit with for a CD with three versions of the same song is heart wrenching.
