Your favourite Internet Jazz station (s)

Thread Starter

I have been subscribed to Pandora one and I have been pretty pleased with the SQ from my Sony laptop and the M audio studiophile M-40. Since I do not like a lot of bass so I used the foam plugs to the rear ports. Not audiophile quality but for $36.00 a year,I cannot complain.

Recently,I ran across the TSF Jazz station ( Paris, France) and I am amazed with the SQ and the selections they play. I's like to share this with Jazz fans if you have not listened to TSF Jazz, give it a try.

Happy listening.

Try KKJZ 88.1 in Los Angeles.

Through some quirk, I got amazing reception of KKJZ when I lived in LA. I wasn't much of a jazz fan when I started listening. But the reception was so good I kept tuning in. Something clicked and I began to love jazz. smily_headphones1.gif I'm thankful I can still stream KKJZ out here in the desert.

I especially love the overnight program.

I am in Paris, so I know TSF very well. It is quite good but a lot of commercial messages and the playlist is not so big.

I know a very good radio for Jazz

http://www.jazzradio.com/

You can choose among more than 20 channels : trumpet, saxophone, bebop, hard bop, guitar, piano, vocals, big band, latin jazz...

There are very few commercial messages, and they are very short. It is free, you pay only if you want a better sound quality or no commercial interruptions.
