I was just wondering if there is any point to connecting an amp to the 3.5mm output of your soundcard to increase output qualitty. I hear of people connecting CMOY's to their sound cards and claiming increased sound quality, but it doesnt make sense as the CMOY is merely amplifying the X-fi's signal.
