Ipod Touch Dead, What to get ?

My Ipod Touch 2G is now dead, so need a new MP4 player.

 

My Requirements are :

 

Good sound Quality (if possible amped/unamped)

Good Screen 

Supports lots of Video formats etc..

Its main use will be Music/Videos :)

 

I will be using this with a pair of Fischer Audio DBA-02s most likely.

 

My perfect set up would be if i could make the Iphone 4 sound good i guess (as i have heard SQ isnt great) . But i dont know much about amps or if thats even possible

 

However i dont need all the bells a whistles like apps etc i just want good video :D

I like the Zune HD as an audio player.  It has decent video support also.  But I've also been looking at the Cowon J3, as well.

Cowon J# fits those requirements based on reviews.  I just bought one yesterday and can't wait to hear it myself.

use the iphone 4, get the custom eq apps "equalizer" or "EQu" and get the VLC player app... all are available on the itunes store

 

vlc player..like its PC counterpart, will play ANY movie format.  only limitation is sometimes ultra high quality movies are too much for the ipod, but it will show you a message indicating as such...

I understand you had to pay like a hundred bucks for the 160 HDD upgrade, but you can get a grand new 160 GB for a hundred and some dollars less.
