So I am feeling melancholic , but Bill Evans , Moon Beams is a little too mellow... any one recommend some good, brooding and melancholic Jazz?

Glad it's what you had in mind.  That guy is really talented!  There are other Polish jazz musicians that are supposed to be really good.  I just haven't checked any others out yet.
