I am thinking of purchasing a portable setup for my iphone 4. I've been researching and thinking of what I want to buy, I am posting this to ask for advice from others who may know better than me. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Iphone 4 --> (included ipod to usb from Algorhythm solo) --> Cypher Labs Algorhythm Solo --> (Whiplash twag v2 mini to mini) --> Fiio E11 --> Westone UM2
My other possible setup is...
Whipmod 120GB --> Whiplash Elite Reference LOD --> Fiio E11 --> Westone UM2 (eventually twagged JH-16's)
My weak points seem to be my iPod to USB included from the solo and the Westone UM2's. I realize that I will need a better IEM to fully utilize the clarity of this setup, but I'm working in steps with a budget, I plan to eventually purchase Twagged v2 JH-16 Pro's. Does anyone know of a better iPod to USB cable that I could use to connect my iPhone 4 to my Algorhythm Solo? I am also wondering as to the pro's and con's of each setup. Thanks in advance! Feel free to tell me if anything is terrible, let me know all things that you think, whether good or bad, as I am new to all of this.
