Some random questions about headphones...

Some questions to keep you up at night...

 

1. Are headphones a pair? So is it my SA5000 or my SA5000s?

2. What percentage of gear bought by members do you reckon is sold on?

3. What do reckon the record would be for the most number of owners of a piece gear?

4. Given that the quality of a recording, including the levels across the audio spectrum are determined my human sound engineers wearing headphones, does the quality of the phones they use matter more than what we use?

5. I suspect for almost all of us, this hobby is at least in part about enjoying gadgets as much as its about enjoying really excellent SQ. Where would you put the balance for you (e.g. 40% gadgets 60% music).

If a tree falls, and I'm busy listening to Sara Bareilles with my TP10s, does it make a sound?

1) yes, its a pair of headphones; either way is correct.  

2) no clue

3) not sure what you mean here.  Are you asking for one particular piece (hf-2 serial # xxx) or in general how many people own hf-2 (for example)?

4) no (but I;m not really sure)

5) 90% music, 10% kit
