Good speakers, trie the SM 319. However, eventually you move on. One problem is the tiniest hint of distortion occassionally. Otherwise the treble is excellent the bass deep but the midrange is kind of mediocre. They don't sound that natural. Save money. Buy good components. Quick fixes don't last.
Cheers!

YES.

They are an excellent buy for the price. I bought some on the recommendation of a friend who traded in his Yamahas for a pair of Fluances. I tested his out and Since I was in the market with not much cash, I got 'em. Fluance is cheaper but sounds better than many higher priced speakers. I would highly recommend them. You won't regret it. Just read reviews online - no one seems to regret buying them. Sure, you can buy more expensive speakers...but that wasn't the question...
