Thanks for the impressions. I'm glad you're enjoying them. Your description of the improvements are typical of a better quality copper cable on the HD6x0 series IME.
I think you'll be impressed at how much of a difference an amp upgrade will make now with the improved transparency of the 600s. The Glite is a great performer in the price range, but the 600s can benefit from more.
Shahrose.......Thanks for your suggestion of a better headphone amplifier. If I were a more serious headphone listener I might consider a better headphone amp, but I am not dissatisfied with the performance of the HeadAmp Gilmore Lite. I would not know where to begin looking for a higher quality amp. There are many gorgeous products available, but without the opportunity to audition them it would be a shot in the dark for me. Any opinion on the X-CAN V8P?
