For the most part i'm interested in the iPod classic due to how universally accepted it is. I know a lot of people knock the iPods sound quality though the headphone jack. Is there anything that can be done to get around this on a budget.
My current headphones for listening are the akg K702's but may buy a pair of grado sr80i's so i'm not carrying around such an expencive set of headphones. (i like open back headphones much more than closed.) I listen to mainly rock, and acoustic music.
I am not entirely close-minded though. if there is anything around $250 that has similar capacity that is better I would be interested.
