The parameters of CEC HP53 FB (abbreviation: HP53) are mediocre, and its appearance is also ugly, as well as an OEM products (anpother Japanese brand model SW-HP10).At the beginning, there is really no expectation of the sound. However, the final results of HP53 is extremely pleasant to my ear, so I have to share this article.

Very comfortable, similar to d7000, W5000
Noise isolation:
General but sound leakage to outside is very small
Impression of sound :
I can describe HP53 as a Japanese-styled HD650 but with much high definition & faster speed as well as smaller sound stage, both of them sing in a neutral way to impress you
.In my experience,only klipsch X10 has a similar sense of hearing.
And HP53 is very sensible to your source, If you listen bad recording music, the sound will be rubbish, and the alteration of sound equipment (such as power suply / amp /
interconnect / vibration, etc.) can be clearly reflected in the sound.
If you equipment is good,it can sound amazing, especially in bass dive, momentum and speed, even better than d5000.
In addition,It is worth mentioning that in vocal performance, compared to D7000/W5000 , HP53 has a superior performance for male and female voices, feeling sincere and
delicate, very enjoyable.
To conclude, HP53'sound is lively and vivid, compared to W50000/D7000, one becomes an artificial one and the other is to be too straightforward.
But a few disadvantages, of course, is yes ---
1. must use balanced connections is the biggest drawback
2. background is not dark enough
3. smaller sound stage
If the majority is pop music (mainly J-pop),in fact, HP53 has done a very good job, compared to W5000, D7000, I prefer the way it is interpret
