Hi to everyone, I want to buy a cellphone with good sound quality. Ive heard that the new HTCs with Dolby sound are good. I also heard that Sony Ericcson phones are also good, but I want to hear some other opinons. Thank you!!!

I heard the iPhones and Samsung Galaxy G are good choices (read the mod for the latter: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/533282/advanced-users-samsung-galaxy-s-kernel-sound-tweak) for their sound.

Personally, I'm using a G2 as a portable player, but I don't think I'd be able to tell any differences between players in the conditions that I'm listening to music (public transport, cafes). One complaint I do have with the G2 is that there is a lot of noise (using IEMs), and I usually use an attenuator.

My HTC Incredible with the audio drivers from the Desire HD sounds pretty damn nice with my SA6's. there is a tiny bit of hiss in between songs, but that's my only complaint.

Samsung S8500 Wave. Decent SQ (and nice phone ;)

The Galaxy Apollo is not too bad sounding for a phone as well.

Its about pretty much on par with the original Sansa Fuze (Rockboxed), yet is not as grainy on the midrange and has a slightly tamer treble region.

It doesn't suffer from a severe bass rolloff unlike the Cowon D2, and has better instrumental separatrion and soundstage width and height compared to it too.

A smooth sounding phone overall =)
