Isn't this Ironic? People here are mostly Audiophiles and when a company like AKG come and add a little life and presence
to their flagship headphone, people are disappointed. Why?
Why are some people here so accustomed to such plain and mundane headphones.
And I don't mean to offend anyone by saying this, but it seems as if most people here would prefer their headphones
to have a limited amount of aesthetic appeal.
It is your choice, however, to have whatever satisfies your taste in the looks department especially if you can choose,
which is rare.
I appreciate AKG giving us the privilege to choose between over three different color choices; and the same goes to
Ultrasone for the Edition 8, except for the fact that Ultrasone go a step above that with offering different material options.
If someone wants to spend their money on a headphone others think are pointless yet they de'servingly earned the
right to own, let them. At the same time my reservations on the subject would be kept personal.
Can we all agree that having color options is an advantage in the high-end audio market we find ourselves in here?
The idea of AKG creating the Quincy Jones Line would not preclude me from buying what I want and it does not have to
keep anybody else from doing so as well.
