FS: Denon AH-D7000 and Grado RS-1i - excellent condition!
Will Ship To: Continential US
I have been using my desktop setup less and less the last several months and have decided to move over to a more portable setup, so everything must go!
Both of these headphones were purchased new at the same time in March 2010. I do not have the exact date; I originally bought the Beyerdynamic Tesla T1 from Headroom and did not like it, so I exchanged it for these two headphones and paid the difference. I was much happier overall for my taste (rap/hip-hop on the Denons, rock on the Grados, pop I would alternate between the two based on the album).
I have been the only owner in a pet free, smoke free home. I used them pretty infrequently, but did burn them each in so they each have over 200 hours, but I would estimate well under 500. Both are completely stock and in excellent condition. The only thing I did with the RS-1i's was to wash the ear cups with shampoo to soften them up a bit (could listen for hours with no issues after doing this). Both have original packaging and accessories (included).
I also have a MisterX custom made M3 amp with Sigma 11 PSU and Gamma2 DAC; I received both in the second half of June 2010. The M3 was made with my low impedance headphones in mind with gain set to 2, but the gain is adjustable (requires opening it up, extra resistors included). The M3 has some upgrades: two inputs (with selector switch), a loop out (to connect speakers or pass-thru to a second amp), OPA627 op-amps and Alps Blue Velvet potentiometer. By default MisterX uses Vishay/Dale resitors, Vishay/Roederstein film caps and Elna Silimic II electrolytic caps. The cases for the M3 and S11 are from Par Metal and much better looking than the Hammond cases IMHO. There are a couple of light scratches around the headphone jack and some light marks on top of the cases from stacking them up. I have tried to get pictures of the imperfections and you should be able to see them in a few of the photos. Keep in mind they are very faint as as you'll see in some of the other photos, they can only be seen in the right light. The Gamma 2 is standard fair, but I opted to not have the front panel with the USB to S/PDIF output to have a cleaner look. This comes with a linear regulated AC adapter.
Last but not least I have a Woo Audio Headphone Stand, the HPS-T (for dual headphones). Please see their site for photos.
All together both headphones sound amazing on this amp and DAC connected via USB to my computer serving lossless files. In total I paid $1,033 shipped for the amp & DAC. All prices are in USD and include Paypal fees and shipping. The headphones and DAC & Amp will be shipped via FedEx Ground. The headphone stand sent via USPS Priority Mail flat rate. At the present time I am looking for buyers in the continental US only. Buy multiple items and I will reduce the price to factor in the combined shipping.
