I too use EAC (Secure mode) to rip and convert to FLAC, and I use foobar for any conversions from FLAC.

http://blowfish.be/eac/Setup/setup1.html that may help. It is a very good tutorial, and though a bit outdated should serve you just fine as the general layout of EAC doesn't seem to change very much.

I use DBPowerAmp Batch Ripper, it supports my Sony VGP-XL1B2 firewire media changer.  I can rip up to 200 CDs at a time.  When I ripped my collection of 5,000 CDs I needed a media changer like this, wouldn't have been practical otherwise.

Exact Audio Copy > FLAC.

EAC can seem rather daunting when you’re setting it up but once it’s done, it’s done. After that initial 15 minute setup period all you do is insert a disc, check the tags its collected are ok, press the MP3 button and then sit back safe in the knowledge that you are achieving the best possible rips of  your discs.
