I am interested in trading my Bottlehead SEX amp for a screwed up Woo6se. You put the wrong tubes in and something went "poof" - no problem (please dont do that to the SEX amp though). Your kid pulled the amp off the shelf and it went "crash" and hasn't worked since... I gotcha covered. Maybe your 6se is just "extremely ugly" as a result of poor packing and getting dropped out of its package and you want to unload it.... You get the idea.

If you are interested in just buying my SEX Im OK with that too. The amp has the stock circuit, with upgraded transformers, upgraded resistors throughout (KOA speer=kiwame) and a few upgraded caps (Russian Teflon). The speaker taps are hooked up to the outputs of the transformer directly, but should not be used for speakers. They work nicely with the K1000 or higher-sensitivity Orthos. 

 

Cosmetically the amp is in good shape. There is a random hum, that I think is due to DC on the power line :( Sometimes its there, sometimes its not. It disapears behind the music at even a very quiet level.

Would look much better with some Blue Tape on it. ;-)

 

Seriously folks, I've heard this amp and she's a beauty.  An absolute steal at the price.
