First recable: Shure SRH440 w/Pics

I just finished my first recable and it sounds great!!

I own shure srh440 and i hated the huge coiled cable it came with so i decided to recable it.

Materials used: Mogami neglex star quad, switchcraft right angle mini plug, 1/8in techflex.

About 3ft 10in long.

Looks good! I looking into doing the same thing for my m50s... like you, not for sound issues, but because the originals are so @#$gh% long!

So, about what was the total investment for this?

Not very expensive, about $20 for all the materials. i already had soldering iron/solder.
