Amp for Stax SR-507?

Can the 323 effective drive the 507, or one would need to step up to the 006?

 

Also:

 

- What is the difference between the 323 II and the newer 323 S?

 

- Does the 600LE provide a better value for the money than the 006tS for the additional cost?

The SRM323 is a very good amp and there should be very little difference in the newer S model. So yes it should drive the SR507s very effectively.

 

As the SRM600 is a limited amp, it is not better value-wise but it does use better tube which can take a bit more power.
