Review, Future Sonics Atrios: Comparison between different tips

The Klipsch gel Larges are like ML's of most other sizes.  The FS black foams are barrel style and are pretty big but the foam gives easily.  I'd think if you where a medium of other tips, you'd want larges in these.

The Earportz run big.  To hard to say what size you should get.  I bought a large pair from another head-fier and they are slightly larger than normally large tips with other manufacturers.

Once properly seated, not bad. Definitely not as comfy as the FS black foams or Klipsch gels but they sound good and isolate very well.  However they are a bit tricky to place correctly, so if you have to take your Atrios in and out very often, I'd chose the others for sure.

Good idea; I could sell one pack. I might keep all three though if I decide to stock up instead. From what I've read in this thread, the black foams last awhile? So maybe I don't need too many?

I thought the shipping was free until the total got re-calculated. Too bad; I wish the shipping cost was more reasonable from a buyer's standpoint. Like $3 to $5 or something like that. These things don't weigh any more than a few ounces.

Just got an email from FS for a 15% discount code for all their tips.  It's "FIT4U".   Hopefully, it will work for you!

Thanks for sharing, I need more of these. Now, if only there were a code for free shipping. . .

Thanks for sharing, but I couldn't get the code to work. I just get a message that says "Sorry, the coupon code you have entered is invalid. Please check the code and try again." I typed in FIT4U in the coupon code box. I was hoping to use this to offset the $10 shipping cost.

If anybody is buying the black foams in bulk, shoot me a PM.

I'm in Australia and can't get it shipped here unfortunately but would be happy to buy some off another member.

Ok I can't get a decent fit with anything the Atrios have stock. Tip suggestions and/or trades are welcome. Basically every stock FS tip causes me pain after listening for 10 minutes or just fall out of my head. I like the sound I get with the large FS black foams, it just gives me an earache before I can finish one album.

The Klipsch gels are probably what you need then.  The only down side is the fit is shallow with less isolation but offer the best in comfort.  You can buy the gels from Klipsch direct or on Amazon.  I'm specifically referring to the single flange.  The mediums are pretty small, so I'd recommend the Large unless you have very small ear canals.
