RE0 and Sony Hybrid tips

I just lost the stock RE0 bi-flange tips. I tried the black ones that came with the RE0, but didn't like them. I looked some other threads from this forum. It says the Sony hybrid tips fits the RE0, but the sony hybrid tips seem to have a small hole then the stock ones from RE0. How will that affect the overall sound quality???

Is this one the Sony hybrid ear tips? http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/images/products/9228/9228356_sa.jpg

RE0 and hybrid are perfect combo at least to me. I got them in loose for less then $3 a pair from Sony service centre. I also have the OEM version, the real thing is better.

Do you have a link or phone number?  I only see them charging $5 and I think it's for only one tip.

Is that really true? I noticed the hole in the hybrids are smaller. I am in desperate need of a earphone tip with good isolations. I spent 4 hours on the train each day. The excessive noise ruined the whole listening experience. =(

I haven't found this noticeable on TF10's, which have pretty substantial bass.

I love the hybrids with my RE0. They are better than the monster supertips I used to use (though they cause more problems with microphonics. Just my 2 cents

I found the best tips for bass response and isolation were the monster triple flange.

I'm having issues with my RE-ZERO's and tips.

Comply and single flange tips provide a nice, easy seal but the Comply's kill the highs and both tips provide hopeless isolation.

Stock bi-flange tips are a mixed bag. The right ear loves the small bi-flange and fits very quickly. The left ear finds the small one too small, the big one too big and if I do get a perfect seal at the right depth, it's usually uncomfortable to wear for too long due to the long and fiddly fitting process.

Not finding a happy medium just yet :)

Will look into some of the suggestions already here.

Are the Sonys still the recommended replacement tips?
