Cable Upgrade For HD 595

I've just recently got a pair of HD 595's (beginning of January) and was wondering if it's worth upgrading the cable for these cans. These are really my first real pair of cans, being that I upgraded from my HD 201's which I really served me well. I don't plan on buying another pair of cans for a while so I was wondering if a cable upgrade would make a difference for these cans? If so, where would I find good cables for HD 595's?

That would be a no. The 595 is unlikely to benefit from a cable upgrade; it just wouldn't repay the outlay. That's not to say the 595 isn't a great phone--I happen to think it's the most balanced, neutral phone in its price range--but it just doesn't justify those kinds of additions, especially as the cable is not detachable (unlike the 600 series). A lot of trouble and expense for not much reward.
