Off the topic but I believe that Lordzip is right. Few years ago, a few people reported that the Onkyo 805 with smokes, sparks, fires issues. I have own the Onkyo 805 and  then the Onkyo 876, I did not experience any of the above issues. A few dollars computer fans put on top of the Onkyo 805 solved all the over-heating problem but again I never had and have any issues 'till today.

It's a good idea to use both hands when putting the Senn on the head will prevent cracking just like we use both hands when put the glasses on or when take them off.

I am going to keep mine and treat them with care.

From what I've read, you don't want to bother with the 518 (equivalent to the 515). If budget is getting stretched, get the HD555 for like $85 or so from amazon.
