Where can I find better quality music than Flac 44.1kHz?

Only music I have apart from mp3s is in flac 44.1kHz, where can I find something better?

You're not finding better quality than FLAC in all honesty. You could try encoding in wav, while they're both lossless formats, wav is uncompressed while flac is, here is an article on the topic:

In terms of bit rate, you'd have to get an SACD player along with some SACDs which can be hard to come by since many artists do not release SACDs.

There is always vinyl but that's another beast.

You can find hi-rez flac from sites like HDtracks.com or Linn. (24/96 or 24/192).

that thread you linked to was clearly posted by someone who has convinced themselves that there CAN be a sound quality difference between wav and flac

and the OP is talking about FLAC at 44.1KHz and as someone has already mentioned there are a couple places that provide higher resolution tracks for download

another option is DVD-A if you have a PC with a DVD drive you can play/rip a DVD-A disc

other options are DAD (24/96 PCM on a DVD-V disc) Blu-ray (requires a blu-ray drive obviously and most music releases will be live concert discs) HD DVD (requires HD DVD drive again most releases will be concert discs) the Blu-ray and HD DVD options will mostly be 24/48 (some might be 16/48) and in 5.1ch or higher a few are in 24/96 and there might be a couple at 24/192

Nine Inch Nails relased their "The Slip" for free to download on their site. It's in mp3, FLAC/M4A and 24/96 WAVE. I'd call it a good start...
