Hi yall,

It's been a while since I've posted here, but I'm having a bit of an issue and I figured what better crowd to ask then the fellows at head-fi!

So I've been acquiring a rather large collection of music in FLAC, and I've been converting it into ALAC to play in iTunes (my preferred player). I just an 18-disc collection of Bill Evans songs and after converting them with Max, they were imported into my iTunes library. However, there was no song names! all it said was disc number - track number - unknown title.

My question is, is there anyway I can batch embed metadata based on filename? I know there are script parsers for iTunes, but as they are originally FLAC files, I cannot figure out how to use such technology.

Suggestions?

Edit: Nevermind, I found that you can name the converted file the source file and that solved my problems!
