I just got a pair of Vsonic GR07 MK2, I have a question I'm using it with the Samsung 3 it sounds good enough but sometimes the music cuts off. I can only start it again when I take out the plug and put it back in. I went to the Verizon store and they pointed out that the plug doesn't sit flush with the phone where it does with the I phone 5. Then they said to pull the battery and do a reset and that worked. I had to do it twice today. But if I'm listening to music off my hard drive or Pandora the same thing happen. It may be happening more in my Chevy Volt LoL. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can either re-terminate the 3.5mm plug or use a small 3.5mm extension cable between the IEM and the source. But ask the seller for an exchange first.
Thanks for the response. I can send it back for a refund I only had them for a few days. I bought them on Amazon just incase something happen like this. I certainly did a lot of research before I bought them. The Samsung 3 maybe has a odd input for the jack it is flush in the front of the phone then slops in the back causing an angle so the Vsonic doesn't fit flush. Do you have any suggestions, I liked the GR07 because it seem like a well rounded phone. I need something comfortable and stays in during activities. The UE f10 sounds great but I'm worried about the fit. I would like to get this right so I have something great and durable. I looked over your fantastic rankings and compared them with others thats how I came up with the GR07. I would love to hear some suggestions.

I had the GR07 MKII with the US Galaxy S3 and had no issues.
I was also wondering can it be something with the Chevy volt. I did the reset on the phone an it worked. It work well in the house. Could it be
the changes in WiFi service. Or something in the car. It may or may not be the gap on the plug. I guess I will try another head set in the car to compare. I shouldn't be the only one with this problem, though I could be the only one with the Volt using the GR07.
I just want to say these phones are working great on my ipad. I'm loving them they are starting to open up. I didn't want to raise any alarms. I will test them later in my car.
I tested two head phones in the car and they both seem to be cutting out. It just must be an issue with the smart phones and all the activity that takes place do other users agree? I did notice my old Bose set had 3 black rings around the plug and the Vsonic had two but they both cut out. Thanks for the input.

Would anyone in the USA who owns the GR07 MK1 (or MK1.1) be able to lend them to the user eke2k6 for a 3 way shootout between all the existing GR07 models to this date: MK1 vs MK2 vs BE? That would be a really nice comparison to see and read about, no? If anyone is willing to do it, please contact eke2k6 by PM...
Thanks!

Is cable of GR07 detachable? I'm wondering because in pictures you can see a small gap near the cable on the earphone which looks like a connector.

I've never heard the Senn's, but to these ears the GR07 Bass Edition was too fatiguing for my ears. The MK2's have PLENTY OF BASS imo.
I'd be interested in a comparison between the MKII and BE too. The way some of the back and forth goes on in these MKII vs BE threads go, it seems they are almost different IEMs to some folks while other reviewers say the differences are pretty subtle. Are they really that different that a person can love one and can't use the other? I ordered the BE and hope peoples' fears of siblance and fatigue don't ring true for my ears.

I hate the BE and love the MK2. BE has too much rumble, quantity. MK2 goes plenty low IMO. Sibilance gets much better after 50 hours or so. Fatigue from the overbearing bass on the BE is still present...though gone as they've been returned to the hole they came from!!
