Nope (IMHO).

Unamped, RE0's bass rolls of dramatically, when amped, it doesn't. GR07 bass extends lower indeed, but it lacks presence somehow, so that the end result I do hear sounds pretty equal to RE0, especially compared to the modded one. However, stock RE0's do also have a mid-treble peak, not that sibilant, but worth mention. RE0 wadding mod, reversible and easy made, (take of the paper filter, put some wadding in the tube, cover the exit with a new paper filter, done) brings you even more bass quantity then GR07 does and also more neutral sound overall. The major sonic difference I hear comes from GR07's sibilance  (6khz peak) and a wider stage, too wide for my taste, but very good at instrument separation indeed..

Heh i am kind of shocked. Re0 are considered to be on the light with bass and for someone who wants more than average bass should look else were. The way i read clieos and other reviews i thought it has decent quantity of bass. Something like brainwavz m1 but more controlled, deeper and more refined.

I guess some other users can comment on this?

For some people, the bass on the RE0 can be lacking.  I had to listen for it before I felt it.  Now it just feels right at that level.  And I was running them unamped.  They do have deeper bass production with a small amp though.

I wouldn't touch that site with a ten foot pole.  Just looks fake.  They stole pictures from this site and others it looks like.  Just wait for lendmeurears or www.earphone on ebay has them or purchase directly from lendmeurears.com when they get them in stock (should be any day now).

I'm currently using the Monster Turbines and is deciding on whether get the Vsonic GR07's.  I'm looking for an IEM with more bass, but also balanced overall. Should i replace the MT with the GR07's? Will you guys think that i'll be impressed how much better the GR07's are better than the MT

You're not gonna get more bass with the GR07s.  If you want "more" bass then go for the Atrios - in this general price range I can't think of anything that'd be better for that.

Of course, the GR07s will be better than the Turbines overall, but they definitely will not have more bass.

IE8 has great bass:)

Any opinions on differences between the GR07 and the Westone 2?   I currently have the DBA's and am looking seriously at one of these as a complimentary back-up.   Appreciate any comments on the two!!
