Anyone use something like this?

This is what I'm talking about. ALO Audio carries them, and state that they allow you to plug in more than one source into one device.

 

Is there any degradation in sound quality that comes with using this? I've heard that the more components in an interconnect chain the more the signal is degraded.

 

Also, obviously you would only be using one source at a time, but just curious, what happens if you run both?

 

EDIT: Just wanted to note that I was planning on using this as a sort of a right-angle adapter, with just one source plugged in.

 

EDIT 2: ended up searching and finding my answer :)
