'Ello, I'm NavesRegge. No, NavesRegge doesn't mean "church reggae," it's an anagram of my real name. Guess what my real name is and you win absolute nothingness.
Anywho, I've been looking at the site for about a month now. In fact, this is the site that convinced me to buy my beloved ATH-M50 headphones. For that, I thank you graciously.
As far as audio stuff goes, I was just recently introduced to it (in the past 6 months or so) when my father decided to turn a big empty space in our house into a home theater. Since my brother is an audiophile, he helped my father get speakers for the theater. Thus, I heard my first "high-end" system: a McIntosh MC302 with PSB Platinum Series T6 Tower Speakers and PSB SubSeries HD8 subwoofer. My God, did it sound beautiful.
Along with that, my brother had a Little Dot MkIII amp and AKG K701 headphones. Following suit, I got the MkII. Instead of AKGs, though, I went with Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones because they were cheap and seemed to be well liked on the internet, particularly this site.
Besides audio stuff, I'm interested in music in general including the trumpet and retro tech such as video games and electronics. I currently have a considerably small collection of consoles (that is, compared to those with huge collections) consisting of every Sega system from the Master System to the Dreamcast, NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS3, 360, Wii, Atari 2600, a Dream Arcades machine, a Game Gear, and some Gameboys. Most of these were hand-me-downs, presents, or cheap. The Dream Arcades machine is actually my father's.
Hopefully I posted this in a correct-enough thread. No other forum/category seemed to be correct.
Anyway, hello everyone!
