Driver Polrity for AKG Sextetts

Thread Starter

Hey guys,

I'm currently in mode of recabling my Sextetts MP and had a simple question regarding the polarity of the solder tabs on the drivers.

There is no marking for + or - but there is a "dot" next to the stock RED wire and a "2" marking next to the white wire. I know red is usually positive but I just want to make sure that this is correct.

The only real answer I could find here is this picture but it has a question mark (green driver).

Thanks for the help and I greatly appreciate all of your help guys!

polarity doesn't usually matter as long as they are both the same, those drivers should have - marks near one of the terminals so you can orient them in the same direction
